Our Story

“Come Out to Play.” Growing up, the Taylor kids never stopped repeating this. Angela Taylor, the only daughter, really ran with it — literally. Track. Volleyball. Basketball. From playing outside with her brothers to playing for Stanford, she learned what it means to stick to a goal, and where that vision could take you. Backed by the unwavering support of her parents, coaches, and teachers, she stepped onto the field and court ready to compete. Under the banner of their nonprofit — The Taylor LEAD Foundation — she and her brothers founded iWIN so girls and women can step into the game and into their power. Through funding, programs, mentorship, and a network of advocates, iWIN puts girls into play and keeps them moving forward.

Play to Lead

For the Taylors, play was never just a pastime. It’s how you found strength, built community, and discovered possibility. It’s the spark that builds confidence, opens doors, and passes power forward.

Where Family Legacy Sparks Future Leaders

The Taylor LEAD Foundation was created to honor Alice and Charles Taylor — parents who believed sports and education could change everything. Every year, scholarships in their names recognize Leadership, Educational excellence, Athletic achievement, and Distinguished community service. Talk about a legacy.
